The SmartCard-HSM JavaCard applet is available as OEM product that you can integrate with your JavaCard offering. While the required crypto middleware is free and open source, the applet has a small license fee. Licensing starts with as little as 1000 units up to millions of cards. You choose what you need.
The build-in PKI makes each SmartCard-HSM a unique key store. This uniqueness requires a PKI operation during the production process. As part of the Device Issuer CA you get the required client/server based personalization system, all using open sourced technology from the OpenSCDP project.
